The Organization

The major purpose of the chapter is to expand the visibility of common engineering eye in the different fields of materials science and engineering. The Material Advantage Chapter at FIU has actively opened its working wings for taking a leap for the prepared flight. At present, The Chapter is providing with undergraduate tutoring in Basic Materials Engineering and Statics and will offer to arrange for more subjects in future. Several seminar presentations by elite faculties, professionals and industrialists both from FIU and outside FIU have been arranged by the Chapter. It also promotes Materials Engineering by putting informative- and technical-tables at various events in FIU. Moreover chapter has reached K-12 schools in introducing the wonders of ‘Materials in Real World’.
